TraceLead

Lead attribution for agencies, priced by the number of client sites

One TraceLead organisation holds every client's website, each with its own tag, hidden fields and report. Each lead reaches the client's inbox or CRM with its first campaign touch, and you pay by the number of sites, never by the lead.

No card needed. No lead caps on any plan.

Marketing agency lead tracking, priced per client site

Clients ask which campaigns produced their enquiries. Answering that across ten sites with ten form builders means ten fragile scripts, or one tool that keeps the first touch on every site the same way.

Plans are sized by sites and team members. Leads and sessions are unlimited on all of them, and above 50 sites we quote by email.

From Agency up, client reports can drop the "Reporting by TraceLead" line and carry only your name and logo.

How to set up lead attribution for each client

The same four steps for every client, whichever form builder or CRM they use.

Organisations, members and roles
  1. Add the client's site

Create a site for the client, register the domains it runs on and copy its public site ID. Each site has its own attribution settings, first-touch lifetime and data retention.

  2. Install the tag and the hidden fields

Add the tag to the client's site and the hidden fields to their form, in the syntax of whatever builds it. The integrations list shows how far each form builder, website platform and CRM is tested.

    <script async src="https://app.tracelead.io/snippet/v1/tracelead.js"
            data-site="tl_CLIENT_SITE_ID"></script>
  3. Match the client's cookie banner

Pick the client's consent manager in the site's attribution settings: Cookiebot, OneTrust, CookieYes, Complianz, iubenda, Usercentrics or Google Consent Mode. Nothing is stored until their visitors agree.

  4. Give the client a way to see it

Send a report link, schedule a weekly or monthly report email, or invite the client as a member who sees only their own sites. Owners and admins on your team always see every site.

Client reports, client logins and your own tools

Everything a client sees is attribution: counts in reports, and per-lead attribution rows in a client login. No report, login, webhook or API call carries a visitor's name, email, form answers or the ids TraceLead uses for counting.

  • Client report links · a read-only page per site with sessions and leads by channel, source, campaign, landing page and referrer; optional expiry, revocable, views counted.
  • Scheduled report emails · weekly on Mondays or monthly on the 1st, to your team and up to five people at the client, who confirm their address and can unsubscribe.
  • Client logins · a member limited to some sites sees only their dashboard, lead log and CSV export, read-only.
  • Lead webhooks · each new lead's attribution to up to three https endpoints per site, signed with HMAC-SHA256, for Zapier, Make or Slack.
  • Reporting API · read-only JSON for every site in the organisation, for Looker Studio, Google Sheets or your own dashboards.

Attribution without personal data. No names, emails, form values, IP addresses or user agents. Ever.

No privacy workarounds. Nothing before consent, no fingerprinting, no ad-blocker bypass, no cross-site identity.

Made in the UK. GBP pricing, UK consent rules in mind, and a person who answers email.

How is TraceLead priced for agencies?

By the number of sites. Starter is £15 a month for up to 1 site and 2 team members; Business is £35 a month for up to 3 sites and 5 team members; Agency is £79 a month for up to 10 sites and 10 team members; Agency 25 is £149 a month for up to 25 sites and 25 team members and Agency 50 is £249 a month for up to 50 sites and 50 team members. Above 50 sites we quote by email. There is no charge per lead, per session or per extra seat.

Can my clients log in to see their own leads?

Yes. Invite the client as a member and tick "Only let them see some sites". They see those sites' dashboard, lead log and CSV export, read-only, and any other site of your organisation answers "not found" for them.

Can I send clients a lead source report?

Yes. Create a read-only report link per site, with an optional expiry, or schedule a weekly or monthly report email to your team and up to five people at the client, who confirm their address first. Both show sessions and leads by channel, source, campaign, landing page and referrer, and nothing about any visitor.

Can the reports carry our agency's name?

Report pages and emails show your organisation's name and logo first. From the Agency plan up you can also turn off the "Reporting by TraceLead" line. Reports are served on TraceLead's own address; custom domains are not offered.

How does lead source tracking for client websites work?

Each client website is a site in your organisation with its own site ID, allowed domains, tag, hidden fields and consent setting. TraceLead keeps the first touch on the client's own domain after consent and fills the hidden fields in the client's form, so the lead reaches the client's inbox or CRM with its source.

Can new leads go to a client's Slack or Zapier?

Yes. Each site can send every new lead's attribution to up to three https webhooks, signed with HMAC-SHA256, which reach Zapier, Make or a Slack workflow. A read-only reporting API returns the same numbers for Looker Studio or Google Sheets.

Does TraceLead hold our clients' leads' personal data?

No. It never stores names, emails, phone numbers, form answers, IP addresses or user agents. The lead itself goes from the client's form to the client's inbox or CRM; TraceLead keeps a pseudonymous lead record (random ids, the form id and page path, and its channel and campaign).

Add your first client site this afternoon.

One organisation for the agency, one site per client, and a report link the client can open on Monday.

No card needed. Cancel any time.
